Á liðinni helgi (23. febrúar) var haldið klifurmót á vegum Klifurfélags Vestfjarða. Það tókst frábærlega og var vel sótt. Augljóst er að klifuráhuginn á Vestfjörðum er mikill og vaxandi.
Ýmis fyrirtæki og einstaklingar lögðu til vinninga og þökkum við þeim kærlega fyrir. Hér neðar er orðsending (á ensku) frá Brendan Kirby sem sá um skipulagningu og framkvæmd mótsins, með góðri hjálp frá öðru félagsfólki.

Last weekend (23rd of February) the Westfjords Climbing Club hosted its first climbing fun comp. It went super well and saw a lot of participants. It’s obvious that there is a great and growing interest in the climbing sport here in the Westfjords.
Various companies and individuals chipped in with competition prizes and we are grateful for that. Here below you will find an announcement from Brendan Kirby who was in charge of organising the comp, with good help from other club members.

What a day! This past weekend, Klifurfélag Vestfjarða held its first ever fun climbing competition. The energy was through the roof, the atmosphere was electric, and the gym radiated with positivity.
Overall, it was a huge success and we’re so very thankful to everyone who made this happen!
A sincere thank you to all of you who participated, this event would not have been possible without you all.
